The electronic label picking system is the standard picking aid system for the convenience store industry. A customer has reached 800 stores, and currently more than 80% of stores need to be matched. The customer chose to use an electronic label picking system in the entire picking area and in the pick and place area.
The whole part: designing a total of nine people in three large areas, using the electronic label picking system to assist the picking, and the moving line adopts the S-type picking line design. When the electronic label is picked up, it can satisfy multiple people entering a region at the same time for picking, solving the problem of waiting for work in the same area and greatly improving the accuracy and efficiency of the picking operation.
However, there is still the possibility of further improvement in this scheme, because the moving line is generally long when the whole box is picked, so the electric pallet truck can be used in this scheme to improve the moving efficiency of the long-distance moving line. At the same time, the unreasonable layout of A\B\C products will lead to bottlenecks in a certain area. Further optimization of the layout of A\B\C products can be considered to spread the intensity of operations in various areas. Ensure that the efficiency of the work is further improved.
Zero-removal: For convenience stores, zero-removal is the largest picking workload. A total of 12 operating communities in four operating areas have been designed in the area, and currently there are only eight operators. The system is designed for regional linkage relay picking, using fluent shelves as cargo placement carrier with two unpowered lines, one power line and one empty box recovery line (belt conveyor). At the same time, the emergency replenishment reminder function is provided in the program to make the replenishment work more efficient.
The project has been officially launched and has been highly evaluated by customers. This project is also the most efficient, most economical and practical case of the same scale (800 stores, 4,000 square meters warehouse). The third phase considers further improving the efficiency of operations and meeting the distribution requirements of nearly 2,000 stores.
